What size HVAC system do I need for my square footage?
It depends on your climate, insulation, windows and ceiling heights, not square feet alone. The quick quote uses design temperatures for your ZIP code to estimate the load in BTU and the system size in tons. A full design reads your plans room by room.
What is a high velocity HVAC system?
A high velocity system moves air through small 2 inch flexible ducts that fit inside walls, floors and ceilings. It is a common choice for older homes and finished spaces where full size ductwork will not fit.
High velocity, ducted or ductless: which costs less?
It depends on the house. The quick quote prices all three for the same home so you can compare. A conventional ducted system needs room for ductwork, a ductless mini split puts a head on the wall in each main room, and a high velocity system hides small ducts in the walls and ceilings.
Is the quick quote a real quote?
